Poor eligibility checks lead to claim denials, payment delays and unhappy patients. We confirm each patient's coverage and benefits before the visit, so your front desk knows what's covered and what the patient owes.
Here's how we verify coverage before a patient's visit.
We collect and check patient demographics and insurance details, such as policy number, payer name and subscriber information.
We check active coverage and plan details through the payer's portal or an electronic eligibility request, and call the payer when the response is unclear.
We check whether planned services are covered under the patient's plan.
Review and document key financial details such as co-pays, deductibles, co-insurance, and out-of-pocket responsibilities so the patient's share is known before the visit.
We check whether the planned service needs prior authorization and flag it, so it can be requested before the visit. See Prior Authorization.
We record what we verified in your EHR/PM system, so the claim goes out with the right insurance details.
Before the visit, we confirm coverage hasn't changed and follow up on anything that doesn't match.
Choosing the right partner for eligibility verification can significantly impact billing accuracy and revenue cycle performance. What you get:

Wrong or out-of-date insurance information leads to rejections and denials that are easy to prevent. We check coverage, benefits and authorization requirements before the claim is ever created, which means less rework for your staff.
We help you tell patients their copay, deductible and coinsurance before the visit. Patients know what to expect, and there are fewer surprises when the statement arrives.
What changed in 2026 (CMS). The Medicare Part B deductible is $283 in 2026, up from $257 in 2025, and the Part A inpatient hospital deductible is $1,736 (CMS, November 14, 2025). Deductibles reset each January, so checking how much of the deductible a patient has met before the visit shows what they're likely to owe.

A structured verification process helps catch coverage problems before they turn into denials. Tell us your visit volume and payer mix, and we'll show you how we'd handle verification.

Contact usEligibility and benefits verification is the process of confirming a patient's insurance coverage, including plan details, co-pays, deductibles, and covered services before treatment. We do this before each visit so coverage problems surface early.
It helps you avoid claim rejections and billing errors caused by coverage problems. We handle the checks so your staff have the insurance details before the patient arrives.
Benefits verification includes checking insurance coverage status, co-insurance, co-pays, deductibles, prior authorization requirements, and policy limitations. Knowing these before the visit helps avoid unexpected costs for you and your patients.
Our AAPC/CPC Certified Coders and Billers check coverage directly with the payer, record what they found in your system and recheck before the visit. We call the payer when an electronic response is unclear.
It's the standard electronic inquiry a provider sends to a health plan, and the plan's response, about a patient's coverage and benefits. Under HIPAA, health plans must support this standard transaction (the X12 270/271 eligibility inquiry and response). When the response leaves questions, we confirm with the payer directly.
